Raspberry Cream Layer Dessert

Raspberry Cream Layer Dessert

This light and refreshing dessert is a perfect treat for any occasion! With layers of creamy custard, soft biscuits, and fresh raspberries, it’s an indulgent yet easy-to-make dish. The powdered sugar dusting adds the finishing touch, giving it a delicate sweetness.

Ingredients:

1 package of ladyfingers or sponge cake biscuits

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup mascarpone cheese

½ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups fresh raspberries

1 cup raspberry jam or preserves

Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Prepare the Custard Cream:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. You can use a hand mixer to speed up the process, mixing for about 3-5 minutes until thick and fluffy.

Layer the Dessert:

In a shallow dish or trifle bowl, spread a thin layer of raspberry jam at the bottom.

Then, place a layer of ladyfingers or sponge cake biscuits over the jam, ensuring they are evenly spread.

Spoon a generous amount of the mascarpone cream over the biscuits, smoothing it into an even layer.

Add a layer of fresh raspberries on top of the cream. Press lightly to secure them in place.

Repeat the Layers:

Repeat the layering process with another layer of biscuits, mascarpone cream, and raspberries, until you run out of ingredients or reach the top of your dish.

Final Touch:

Once you’ve finished layering, finish with a beautiful topping of fresh raspberries on the very top. Dust lightly with powdered sugar for a decorative finish.

Chill:

Let the dessert chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or overnight if possible, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve:

When ready to serve, slice and enjoy this deliciously creamy, fruity treat!

Enjoy! This dessert is perfect for gatherings, holiday meals, or just a sweet indulgence at home
