 Honey Garlic Butter Chicken RecipeIngredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil (for searing)

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for tanginess)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

Serve: Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or veggies. Pour extra sauce on top!

Season the Chicken: Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Sear the Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and let it melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Remaining Sauce Ingredients: Stir in honey, Dijon mustard (if using), soy sauce, vinegar/lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Return Chicken to Pan: Add the chicken back into the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for another 5–7 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C).

Serve: Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or veggies. Pour extra sauce on top!
