- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
For Green Layer
- 1 packet lime or green apple flavored jelly (85g / 3 oz)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
For White/Cream Layer (Optional)
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp gelatin powder
- ¼ cup warm water
Instructions
- Prepare Red Layer
- Dissolve red jelly crystals in 1 cup boiling water.
- Stir until fully dissolved, then add 1 cup cold water.
- Pour into a serving dish or mold.
- Refrigerate until set (about 2 hours).
- Prepare Green Layer
- Once the red layer is firm, dissolve green jelly crystals in 1 cup boiling water.
- Add 1 cup cold water and let cool slightly before pouring gently over the red layer.
- Refrigerate until set.
- Optional White Layer
- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in warm water.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar until warm (do not boil).
- Stir in vanilla extract and dissolved gelatin.
- Let it cool to room temperature before pouring over the jelly layers.
- Refrigerate until completely firm.

- Cut into cubes or slices.
